Cotton Printed Items – Wash and Care

This is general information about cotton printed items. Always check your label and material type for specific care information. Wash inside out at normal temperatures (up to 60°C / 140°F), avoid bleach, and do not iron directly on the printed area to maintain its quality. Avoid using harsh detergents, bleach, or fabric softeners, as they can degrade the adhesive and design over time. When drying, air drying is recommended. In machine, opt for tumble drying on a low setting and keep the garment inside out to reduce friction. For ironing, avoid direct contact with the print area by placing a cloth or ironing the reverse side of the fabric.

Dual Blend Materials

Dual blend fabrics are highly prone to pilling because they combine fibers of different strengths. The weaker fiber in the blend, such as cotton or rayon, breaks down with friction, while the stronger synthetic fiber, like polyester, holds onto the broken fibers, creating visible and durable pills (fuzz and/or lint clumps).

To get rid of pilling, gently use a lint roller, sticky tape, or an electric pilling remover. For prevention, wash clothes inside out on a gentle cycle and consider air drying. Multiple washes inside out can help reduce/remove pilling from newly purchased items.
